Kim Tirapelle, MS, RD, CSSD joins the team for her 9th year of providing sports nutrition guidance and weight management strategies. Kim has been an integral part of the Clovis Wrestling program, educating the team and providing individualized meal planning for athletes' specific needs. Kim is a Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics and was awarded the Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year for California in 2012. She is the Team Dietitian for Fresno State Athletics and has extensive experience providing nutrition counseling to athletes, medical nutrition therapy, and weight management services. Kim works full time at Kaiser Permanente in an outpatient clinic.
Kim is a graduate of the University of Illinois with a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology, with a minor in Biology, and earned her Masters Degree in Nutritional Science at California State University at Long Beach. She completed a dietetic internship at California State University at Fresno, earning her credential as a Registered Dietitian. Kim was an All-State soccer player for Barrington High School in Barrington, IL and a collegiate soccer player for the University of Illinois. Kim is married to husband, Adam, and has a two sons, Dylan and Zachary.
