It doesn't seem like that long ago but March of 2006 will be 10 years later! The 1996 California State Finals featured names like Abas, Blanco, Calavitta, Coffing, Munoz, Tirapelle and Strange. Joey Martinez would later wrestle at Menlo College while Tirapelle would be the first of three brothers to win multiple state championships and wrestle at the University of Illinois.
